ANATA History

* 1937-1967  Small Workshop

My happy memories of childhood formed from a small sugar cast shop on an old street in Tabriz.My father was moulding white sugar into cone sugar and I had never imagined that small workshop would be one of the Iranian food companies. Traditional sweet called Shekar-Panir (sugared cheese) was the second one we had produced in our workshop

 which has found many consumers in the north

 & northwest of Iran. Our products became

 well-known in the markets immediately & we

 were encouraged to make new products.

* 1967-1974 Next steps towards Industrialization

 That year we bought a big workshop in El-Goli Road in Tabriz and ran the first automatic production

 line of toffee & candy there. Remarkable development of the workshop started from 1972, just in short

 time, we had 2-3 production lines and set up a big store to supply our products.

 Developing Anata products, we had to separate candy and toffee machines from the sugar workshop

 and moved them to a new place, i.e. present location of our factory.

* 1974-1983 Nejati Industrial Group

 With our products welcomed by the people

 in Tabriz and other cities, we decided to set

 up a large factory for producing other sorts

 of chocolate and confectionaries. I

 registered “ Nejati Industrial Group” that is

 located in 6 km of Tabriz-Tehran Road.

 Over a year, we ran mechanized production

 line of biscuit and wafer. From 1977, the

 first productions of biscuit and& wafer with

 our registered brand, ANATA, put into the

 market. Our active work on that time was

 sugar, candy, wafer, toffee and biscuit

 production lines.

 With regard to the brisk demand in ANATA

 products, we decided to set up our

 branches and our products have been

 exported to the adjoining countries from

 1980.

* 1983-1989 Concentration

That was necessary to concentrate in order to development of ANATA. For this reason, the sugar workshop was separated from the complex of ANATA Industry, and the candy & toffee's machineries were transmitted from El-Goli workshop to the place of our factory in 1985. In this year, we set up the production line of Chocolate. Over these years, we kept on producing our products, but for the Iran-Iraq War(1980-1988),there was no remarkable development.

* 1989-2000 Remarkable Development

 In this year with the end of war, my sons called Mohammad Javad and Mohammad Reza whose

 childhood and school years were spent with me in my small factory, joined  ANATA officially which was

 a great culmination in the development of ANATA. We were three persons and were able to run all

 production lines of plain and éclair toffees, creamy and plain biscuits, chocolate and plain wafers, and

 kinds of candies in various packages and shapes. In 1995, we exported our products to the east

 Europe, the Middle Asia, and newly developed countries. In 1991, we have done a long outline for

 development of ANATA, and up to now we have added one or more machines for our production lines

 each year. Presently, we are all together so as to manage the ANATA group and have stared at next

 brilliant horizons.
