The History of Nejati Industrial Group (Anata)
(1937 – 1967) As A Small Workshop.
My childhood memories at a small sugar-splitting workshop at one of the oldest streets in Tabriz has been formed. My father at that workshop would change white sugar into moulding sugar, and I would never predict that one day this small workshop would become as one of the biggest production complex in the Middle-East. The latter product of this workshop, was with the local name "shekar-paneer" as a traditional brand name of sweet , which has had a lot of fans nationwide. Our products soon won the heart of many and we showed interest in producing other products.
(1967 – 1974) The First Steps In Industrialization.
During these years , we bought a big workshop at Elqoli Road in Tabriz, and we started up the first automatic line of producing candy and toffee. Since 1972 the eye-catching expansion of this workshop started and during a short period of time, our production lines multi doubled. We now could make effort to start up a shop in one of the streets in Tabriz and sell our products.
(1974 – 1983 ) The Birth Of Nejati Industrial Group .
Following the people's welcome to our products , we indeed intended to install a big factory to produce different kinds of sweets and chocolate patented the Nejati Industrial Group and bought the present land of the factory.
After one year automatic production kind of biscuits and wafer were installed and started up and the first group of these productions in biscuits and wafer were Anata brand.
At that time , both A sugar-splitting workshop , and candy workshop and toffee and also biscuit and wafer producing factory were being active. Because of unprecedented acceptance of Anata production at markets, in short time, other sale branches were opened and inaugurated and only after three years of automatic producing of biscuits and wafer , export to the adjourning countries was started.
(1983 – 1989) Centralization Along With Developmental Expansion.
To develop and expand , we needed to centralize.
To this end , the sugar-splitting workshop was separated from the Nejati Industrial Group and the candy and toffee machinery at Elqoli Road was transferred to the factory . At this year, producing line of chocolate was also purchased and installed. At this period Nejati would continue producing different kinds of biscuits and candy, but because of the imposed war between Iran and Iraq , Nejati Industrial Group was not much expanded.
(1989 – 2000) Eye-Catching Development
With ending the imposed war , my two sons , Mohammed Reza and Mohammed Javad, who were with me, during these years of my activity, joined me formally and energeticly. With this, a revolution in development of the complex took place and we could start up production lines of different kinds of simple toffees and center-filled, simple biscuits and creamy and candy in different kinds; and immediately after that, we could start exporting our products to the Eastern Europe, The Middle Asia and the newly- independent countries. Since then, every year, a new production line has been added to our complex. This complex is now being family-led and we have focused on the bright horizons of development.
